My Story
My story starts the way many people’s stories do in regards to starting my Scentsy business. I didn’t go out searching for a side gig or business opportunity, it kind of found me instead. A friend of mine had been selling for a couple years and I found myself buying enough that it truly made more sense for me to sign up and get some of that money back in return. Again, I wasn’t looking at making this a business at the time. My sister Leesa was also buying her fair share and so we decided to sign up so we could share our discount.
Fast forward five years, I’ve found myself needing something more. My husband and I moved back to my hometown, I’m commuting 69 miles one way to my job in Portland, my husband lost his job, and he has battled health issues. I was considering getting a second job just to help make ends meet until life settles down. That’s when I realized that I already have a second job. My life doesn’t have to be tough and I have the ability to keep our heads above water and pay off past debts.
Scentsy for me doesn’t have to be just a discount; it has the ability to be a lifesaver for my family and me. In addition to the extra income potential I look forward to working towards dream vacations that will cost me nothing. I gave myself a way to provide for my family well before I had the family to provide for.
